Herbmonkeybread Recipes
This goes great with pasta or just a salad for dinner. Just a little twist on the favorite breakfast bread. I also like to add garlic powder to the dry ingredients, but that's just me! Overnight chill time isn't included in the cooking time.

- In a wide bowl, add 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp lukewarm water, dissolve 2 tbsp sugar and sprinkle yeast package on top and let it bloom for 10 minutes. If yeast does not bloom, discard and start afresh.
- In yeast, add lukewarm milk, salt, olive oil, half of the fresh chopped herbs, and 2.5 cups of flour.
- Mix the dough with a wide spatula, then add flour 1 tbsp at a time until dough comes together. Transfer dough to a work surface and knead for 6-8 minutes or using dough hook, knead the dough on high-speed for 4-5 minutes.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with shortening, or spray with cooking spray.
- In small bowl, mix melted butter, dill weed and garlic powder. Separate each can of dough into 5 biscuits; cut each biscuit into fourths. Coat half of the biscuit pieces in butter mixture; arrange in pan.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of the cheese over dough. Coat remaining dough pieces in butter mixture; place over cheese. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes. Run knife around outside edge to loosen. Place heatproof plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan; invert onto serving plate. Pull apart to serve.
